Permanent Hair Extensions

1. What Are Hair Extensions?
Many people do not know exactly what hair extensions are. Hair extensions are simply strands of synthetic or human hair that are weaved, braided, or glued to your natural hair.
They can be any color, texture, or length desired. Many women add hair extensions to provide a hairstyle that is popular or will enhance their appearance. Many popular TV stars often wear extensions for a quick change of hairstyle.

2. Which of the permanent hair extensions method is the best?
This question is really tough and it does not have any universal solution. Every method has its advantages as well as disadvantages. We recommend thinking about your specific preferences and sympathies. Think about the length, structure, and size of the bond when choosing a method of hair extensions. Think about the features of your hair – if they are thick and strong or the opposite (e.g. The micro ring method cannot be recommended for thin and weak hair). On the other hand, the tape-in method fits every type of hair without causing damage.

3. What is Remy hair?
Remy hair is gathered from the head of donors/producers in such a way as to keep the hair properly aligned with its neighboring hairs. This means the hair remains softer and silkier and is useful in producing higher-quality wigs, extensions, and hairpieces.

4. What should I do with my extensions when I swim?
The biggest issue most swimmers have comes from the smell of chlorine from the pool water and potential discoloration and texture changes caused by copper deposits in the hair from the pool water. Another key factor is the need for a style that will survive well in going repeatedly in and out of a chlorinated environment. We recommend to braid your hair when going to swim. It provides a style that won't require a lot of maintenance after swimming sessions and will look stylish. You can also use some cosmetic produced to protect the hair from the saltwater.

5. How many micro ring or u-tip extensions do I need?
That depends on the thickness of your hair. If your hair is not that thick, 100 strands should be sufficient. If your hair is thicker, we would recommend 150-200 strands. If you are not sure, ask your hairstylist.

6. Are human hair extensions better, and why?
Yes, because it behaves like your own hair. Human hair extensions are better because they create a more natural look and effect. This means our extensions can be professionally colored, permed, straightened, and blow-dried.

7. How to apply nail tip hair extensions?
Nail tip pre-bonded hair extensions are also called U-tip extensions. A hairstylist attaches the glued tip of the extension to client´s hair with a professional heat connection pliers. They heat the glue and create thin bond that looks like a very tiny stick with their fingers. These bonds are small and thin but strong.

8. Can the hair extensions be styled using heat (e.g. straightener, curling iron, etc.)?
Yes, simply because it´s real human hair you can straighten and curl the hair as much as you want to. We recommend some heat protectant before doing so.
The Japanese kanekalon can be styled by the heat too, but beware of the heat above 180 degrees.

9. Can I treat the hair extensions chemically?
Yes, humanhair extensions can be toned and dyed with toppings and colors. However, we always recommend trying the shade on a thin strand and only then putting the product on the rest of the hair. Moreover,we recommend only hairdressing products, not colors from drugstores.

Attention! We do not recommend bleaching and lightening the hair, because it is a big intervention in the structure and it could dry out the hair. If you want to tone the hair color only slightly and at the same time as gently as possible, choose coloring masks and hair conditioners. Silver shampoos can also be used, but be careful. It is better to mix this type of shampoo half and half with a classic shampoo and to wash it off the hair immediatelly. Also do not do this too often.

10. How long do the human hair extensions last?
The longevity of the hair extensions is very individual. On one hand, it depends on your personal feeling, ie. someone would have already exchanged their hair, although another would still consider it perfectly fine.
In general, longevity is most affected by a proper care. You should always use quality shampoo, mask, oil, and thermal protection - these are the absolute basics. Please always use professional hair care products. If the hair extensions have proper care, it can look nice for a year or even more.
